I recently enjoyed my stay at The Old Ship. The staff's attention was impressive, and the food exceeded my expectations with generous portions. the shower left much to be desired. Despite this, I had a delightful visit overall.

The bathrooms could use some love. they’re functional but show signs of age. If you end up in a room above the pub, prepare yourself for some late-night noise—it can get a bit boisterous with conversations stretching well past midnight. A hiccup occurred with our food bill, missing that promised discount but didn’t ruin the overall experience.

I stayed for a night with my husband and we had such a chill time. The staff welcomed us warmly and were incredibly attentive, making our stay special. The double room was neat and clean, with generous tea and coffee supplies. Dinner was amazing, with large portions we couldn't finish, and breakfast was equally delightful and well-prepared. the room felt a bit small and could use some updating.

Just an ideal choice for a city escape in Lowdham with definitely value for money. The food discount was a pleasant surprise that made our meals more enjoyable. Try to book on a quieter night to avoid noise from downstairs.

Perfect for a quick getaway

The staff were excellent! Really friendly and went out of their way to. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the Twin Room was fine and the beds very comfortable.

It wasn’t cheap, but still acceptable.

The staff couldn’t do enough for us, and the atmosphere in the pub and restaurant made it a lovely place to unwind after a day of exploring the nearby Lowdham War Memorial and the picturesque Ferry Farm Country Park, both just a short walk away from the hotel.

We enjoyed a lovely two-night stay with a very generous breakfast selection and didn't feel rushed at all. The decor felt fresh and inviting, and the good value for money simply topped it off.

We had a lovely night stay. the hearty full English was a highlight. The cozy room was perfect for a relaxing night after a day out. Would definitely recommend!
